Wow, JJ, way to crush a girl. Here I was thinking I was doing something healthy by drinking almond milk instead of cow's milk or soymilk. Oh well. :( The problem is that I don't see coconut milk in larger containers for use by my family as well as myself.

OMG!!! Absolutely delicious!!! I didn't even miss the pasta! I didn't know how many servings this was supposed to make, so I doubled it and my family of four ate the whole thing (kids included). So much for portion control.

Thanks so much for sharing the glass containers .. I've been using my glass bowls which take up too much room in my refrigerator. They will keep my fruits/vegies/leftovers fresher for a longer period of time, with no leaching of plastic! Thanks again, Nancy

Instead of the almond milk you could use a tablespoon of almond butter. That is one of JJ's suggestions in the book for the shake.

Several books and medical studies point to the fact that to much protein raises the risk of cancer. A good book that consolidates all this information is called "The China Study". How many grams of protein does your diet recommend over all per day.

I do recall that 5% protein does not raise cancer risk. So for 2000 calories a day that would be 25 grams.

Thanks for your reply :)

p.s. I agree eating all day long strains the body.

Very true-the research is certainly heading in the direction that many more are gluten intolerant than previously recognized. Celiac disease is now estimated to affect 1 in 100 North Americans, with the number of gluten intolerance even higher. Eating naturally gluten free foods lends itself to "cleaning up" the diet without a doubt! I don't need a gluten free label to tell me that a chicken breast or an apple is gluten free!
Thanks for helping to increase awareness!

Abdominal fat loss does not require tons of crunches, sit-ups or side bends. All you need is a treadmill and a good pair of sneakers. Crunches, sit-ups, etc., will not cause abdominal fat loss, no matter how many repetitions you do. This is because the problem isn't the muscles in your abdomen, which are what gets worked when you do crunches, side-bends, etc.

Aside from casein, what is another primary ingredient found in a product extracted from a cow? It is none other than whey protein which can also be obtained from plenty of processed items fresh from the farm. For example a cheese, from the time of manufacture, the liquid portion is divided from the curd.Try to visit http://www.squidoo.com/best-whey-proteins if anybody want more info.
